EasyCAN Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of EasyCAN software and the purchase and use of EasyCAN digital tokens. A purchase processed by Lemon Squeezy is also subject to the terms presented in its checkout.

1. Provider and contact

EasyCAN services and the EasyCAN product are provided by Andrzej Michalak EasyCAN, a sole trader entered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG), tax ID (NIP) 8262031661, business register number (REGON) 545572898, business and complaint address: ul. Ekologiczna 8/48, 02-798 Warszawa, Poland.

2. Services

EasyCAN is a tool for supported programming, diagnostics and emulation functions for compatible vehicle modules. Individual functions may require a valid licence, an Internet connection and the correct kind of token.

A token is not money, cannot be redeemed for cash and may be used only within the EasyCAN ecosystem. The current software and its documentation determine the exact set of supported functions.

3. Requirements

The user must provide the correct email address assigned to their EasyCAN licence and provide a compatible Windows environment, Internet connection and compatible hardware. Before working on a vehicle, the user should create any required backups and provide stable power. The software may refuse an operation if the licence, token or request compatibility cannot be safely confirmed.

Functionality, compatibility and interoperability depend on the software version, the J2534 Pass-Thru interface used, and the specific vehicle and module. The current feature description, change history and instructions are available on the EasyCAN website. Licence controls, online verification and token-to-account assignment are technical protection measures.

4. Orders and payment through Lemon Squeezy

Token purchases are one-time transactions and do not start a subscription or recurring billing. The current price, currency, taxes and total charge are shown before payment is confirmed.

Lemon Squeezy is the authorised reseller and Merchant of Record: the buyer purchases the product from Lemon Squeezy, while EasyCAN supplies the digital product. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, tax, transaction confirmation and sales documents. The Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms apply to the transaction.

5. Delivery and token balance

After the EasyCAN server receives a valid notification of a completed transaction, the tokens are automatically assigned to the account specified during purchase. This normally happens shortly after payment, but payment verification or a temporary technical issue may cause a delay. A checkout message alone does not replace Lemon Squeezy's server-side confirmation.

The user is responsible for entering the correct email address. If payment was completed but the balance was not updated, the user should send the Lemon Squeezy transaction ID or receipt to the contact address, without including any card details.

A token is consumed in accordance with the message displayed by the software when an operation is successfully accounted for. If a feature offers a free retry for the same module, the applicable time and conditions are displayed in the software; a retry after that period or for a different module may require another token.

6. Acceptable use

The user may use EasyCAN only lawfully, for its intended purpose, with proper authority over the relevant vehicle or module and in accordance with safety requirements. Circumventing payment or licence controls, manipulating requests or webhooks, sharing keys with unauthorised persons and using the service for unlawful activity are prohibited.

7. Licence and intellectual property

EasyCAN, its code, branding and materials are protected by law. The user receives a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the software and purchased tokens for their intended purpose. These Terms do not transfer intellectual-property rights. The restrictions do not affect any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Complaints and technical support

Report a problem to ebt25@easycan.pl and include the account email, token type, approximate time, software version and a description of the issue. Do not send your password, full card details or other secrets. Complaints are reviewed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt.

A complaint may also be sent by post to the address in section 1. The response will be sent to the user's email address unless another durable medium is agreed.

9. Withdrawal and refunds

The separate Refund Policy explains withdrawal, refund and product-problem rules. Lemon Squeezy processes payment refunds in accordance with applicable law, the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms and the terms applicable to the transaction. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

10. Conformity of digital content and services

For consumers and sole traders entitled to consumer protection under mandatory law, EasyCAN is responsible for the conformity of digital content or services it supplies with the contract to the extent required by applicable law. In the event of non-conformity, the user may request that the product be brought into conformity and, where provided by law, may also request a price reduction or terminate the contract.

Updates, including security updates, are provided for the period required by the nature of the supply and applicable law. Users should install properly provided and described updates within a reasonable time; failure to do so may affect software operation.

11. Duration and termination

A token purchase is a one-time supply. The right to use the software and account continues under the applicable licence terms. A user may stop using the services at any time and request account deletion, subject to data that must be retained for legal, accounting or claims-protection purposes. EasyCAN may restrict access for a material breach of law or these Terms after asking the user to stop the breach, unless immediate action is required for legal or security reasons.

12. Liability

The user is responsible for correctly preparing the vehicle, hardware and data backups, and for deciding whether they have the authority and knowledge to perform an operation. To the extent permitted by law, EasyCAN is not responsible for use contrary to instructions, incompatible hardware, unstable power, interrupted communication or unauthorised user interference. Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Alternative dispute resolution

After completing the complaint procedure, a consumer may seek assistance from a Polish municipal or district consumer ombudsman, the competent Trade Inspection authority, or an authorised consumer ADR entity. Information and a list of entities are available at polubowne.uokik.gov.pl. EasyCAN does not commit to participate in a particular ADR procedure unless required by law or agreed in the individual case.

14. Changes and governing law

The current version is available at this address. Changes do not affect rights acquired from transactions already completed. Polish law governs the relationship with the EasyCAN supplier, but this choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence. The Lemon Squeezy transaction is governed by the terms shown at purchase.
